“Wow! No one has ever done this for Pieri before~!”

Maybe it was a mistake, actually trying to learn how to cook from Pieri. She was one of the kindest people to you, but her reputation for being absolutely mentally unhinged preceded her. You had a feeling that no one was really going to interact with her, due to how fearful they were of her. But over the course of a week, you had learned an incredible amount of information about her. She was the best cook in the army and there was absolutely no kidding about that, but she was also very glad that you had approached her. While others viewed her as fearsome, you had learned that she was incredibly sociable… As long as she wasn’t interacting with servants.

You bustled quickly about the kitchen, quickly attempting to craft the perfect chicken parmesan. She seemed incredibly pleased with your efforts and wasted no time in complimenting you.

“No one has ever cooked for Pieri before, not even a man! Even if [Y/N] make mistakes, Pieri will teach you more!” You smiled over at her, before taking the tray out of the oven with some oven mitts. Humming, you were pleased as you seemed to have done a pretty decent job. You hustled to put the parmesan on the plates, sliding it on delicately before retrieving the silverware. You put the tray in the sink for the meantime and placed the white plate before Pieri. Admittedly, you were rather winded from running around the kitchen so much. Not even sparring tired you out to this extent! “It looks and smells very good!”

“Thanks… I never get this tired, even when sparring…” You admitted sheepishly, rubbing the back of your head. She gave a soft giggle, before cutting of a piece nimbly. You watched anxiously as she examined it thoroughly, before she smiled widely.

“Cooked perfectly! Pieri is very impressed!” She took a bite, and chewed thoughtfully, before nodding. “[Y/N] has mastered the parmesan!” Inwardly, you jumped up and down and cheered, but you kept your grateful demeanor.

“I wouldn’t have gotten this far without you, though.” You admitted. “You’re such a good teacher… Thank you, Pieri.” You told her gratefully. She blinked slowly, and you tipped your head, wondering if you had said anything wrong. Her expression bloomed into another wide smile, however. This one somehow seemed brighter and more vivid than any smile she had shown you before, and you were utterly awed. She placed the silverware down and beamed at you.

“No one has ever been this loving towards Pieri before!” She chirped. “[Y/N] is Pieri’s favorite, so kind and pretty!” Your eyes widened and a soft blush dusted across your face at her words. “Pieri likes [Y/N]  a lot and always wants to spend time with her!” Pieri grinned, reaching out suddenly to grasp your hands in her own. “Maybe Pieri can learn from [Y/N] too!” No one had really ever reached out to her? You suddenly were swept with a wave of sympathy, but that was replaced by a swell of utter affection within you. Your face was flustered, but you nodded at her.

“I’ll make sure to spend a lot of time with you!” You nodded at her with a bright smile. “I-I umm..” You were at a loss at what to say for a moment. “...really like you!” You blurted the words out suddenly, and she gripped your hands tighter with a nod.

“Pieri likes [Y/N] sooo much! Pieri will never lose her!”
